Blue Devil Faculty Academy: Group Work: Using Cooperative Learning Groups Effectively In-Person / Online

The Blue Devil Faculty Academy (BDFA) is a year-long orientation program for new full-time faculty. All Sessions will be offered via Zoom, recorded, and then uploaded into Blackboard.

Description: The focus of this session is on how to develop impactful techniques and strategies involving group work in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and hyflex courses.

Dottie Hill holds a B.A. in English Literature, B.S. in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Education. She has worked for KCKCC since 2013 after 7 years teaching middle school. She manages The Morgue, a mortuary science database unique to KCKCC, assists students and processes library materials. She cohosts the monthly Death Cafe, Makerspace events, and manages the Learning Commons social media pages. Feel free to stop by or call if you need help locating specific items.
